Landwaterfork Foods Inc. is an Ottawa, Ont. based private chef service and sustainability consulting company, created by Justin Faubert, whose goal is to provide high quality, professional, personalized service for every client.
Justin’s culinary career started as a dream, enrolling as a student at one of Canada’s best culinary training schools, Vancouver’s Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts. Upon completion of his culinary diploma, Justin has worked in several well known Vancouver restaurants including C Restaurant, Provence Mediterranean Grill and Provence Marinaside. During his time at Provence Mediterranean Grill, Justin earned the position of Chef de Cuisine and received his Red Seal designation under Executive Chef and owner Jean Francis Quaglia.
During the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, Justin was hired by NBC Universal Sports to be part of the culinary team at the Richmond Oval speed skating venue. It was a great experience to be part of such a worldwide event providing food service to athletes, dignitaries, media and event staff.
Justin’s experience has also led him to work as a private chef, spending several summers working as a “live in” chef for a family on one of BC’s Gulf Islands. Commuting by float plane is incredible!
Having recently moved to the Nation’s Capital, Justin is excited to experience the wealth of local product available in Ottawa. With an emphasis on locals foods, simple techniques and well balanced flavours, Landwaterfork is sure to make your next special occasion or get-together a great one.
