Autumn Menu

Autumn brings comfort food cravings.

The days get shorter and the temperature gets cooler. We start to think about more hearty foods and curling up with a mug of tea. Pears, pumpkins, squash and my favourite apple crisp.

Appetizers

Seared foie gras, sauteed italian plums, ginger gelee, toasted baguette

Apple, carmelized onion & gruyere tartes

Endive salad, fresh figs, orange reduction & walnuts

Roasted cauliflower soup, crunchy apple, curry oil

Mains

Confit of duck leg, ragout of butternut squash, toasted chickpeas & kale, quince puree

Fresh linguine, mussels, saffron cream, oven dried tomatoes

Pork chop, black mustard sauce, potato gratin, braised turnip & cabbage

Kumquat glazed quail with pink peppercorns, creamed corn polenta, wilted spinach

Desserts

Fig & brown butter tarte with 5-spice marscapone cream

Individual pear Tarte Tatins

My childhood apple crisp

Gingerbread cake, poached pears, sweet cream cheese
